Construction death forklift: 5.8 million

A construction worker lost his life at a newly developed hotel job site due to the alleged negligence of a forklift operator employed by another contractor. The deceased left behind a wife and five young children, all of whom were plaintiffs in the case. The defense argued comparative negligence on the part of the victim; however, we successfully demonstrated third-party liability. The case concluded with a $5.8 million settlement during litigation, without the need for trial, providing much-needed financial support for the surviving family.
